Gaddis Donates Electric Cars to Two Ada Institutions
Ada, Oklahoma, September 20, 2013 – Roger and Leigh Gaddis of Gaddis & Gaddis Wealth Management began the week with a ceremony at East Central University to recognize their donation of an electric car to East Central University (ECU) and they ended the week with a raffle for an electric car they donated to Mercy Hospital Ada.
Both donations reflect the Gaddis’ interest in the community and particularly in these institutions. Leigh Gaddis, a co-founder of Gaddis & Gaddis, is a graduate of East Central University and Roger has taught continuing education classes at the university.
The Gaddis' are members of the ECU President's Circle and also are Circle of Friends members for Valley View Hospital (now Mercy Hospital Ada). “This was an easy decision for Leigh and me. We recognized an opportunity to assist East Central University with its intercampus shuttle transportation and the donation to Mercy Hospital Ada for its employee raffle will help raise financial resources for the hospital foundation,” Gaddis said.
The electric cars are both Tomberlin Emerge LEs, which are “street legal,” all electric, low speed vehicle (LSV) vehicles with a top speed of 25 miles per hour.
Community support and involvement in civic and professional activities have always been important to the Gaddis’. Here in Ada, Roger Gaddis has been a board member of the Ada Salvation Army, the Ada Boys & Girls Club, Ada Youth Baseball and he is a graduate of Leadership Ada.
